I've been eying this forearm for my 20" WOA Varmint. The original forearm that came with the upper is 12.5" and is perfectly flush with the gas block.

I've seen the length of the PRI Gen III listed at 12". Theoretically, if it's exactly 12", it would leave half an inch of exposed gas tube; I don't want this.

Can anyone with this forearm tell me what the overall length is? If not, is there another railed forearm that will not leave any exposed tube? The gas block is big enough that it likely will not fit under a 13.2" or 13.5" rail.

You might want to consider the Badger Ordnance stabilizer handguard also:

I do like the Stabilizer, but I like the PRI because I can tie it all together with the ARMS sleeve and have a full-length rail for optics.

I don't understand how that's unique to the PRI. The ARMS sleeve simply goes over the upper's and the forearm's rail - you could do the same with the badger.

The sleeve I'm referring to is profiled to the PRI forearm, although I'm sure I could find a rail that would tie any railed forearm to the upper. This decision is partially aesthetic :D
