Some of those guys need some trigger finger discipline. I'd hate to be one of the guys in the front if someone in the rear slipped.

After all the times I've seen that photo, this is the first time I noticed the Squad Designated Marksman guy in the back. :p

Yea, the AK and the bolt gun look totally out of place.

their knee pads aren't even in the right place, if they came up against any kind of threat, I wish I could be there with a nice tub of popcorn and a drink.

Oh, the smg's lool like they might be based in the czech scorpion or something.

I'd love to see the guy with the AK fire and try to hold his balance...but seriously this is stupid, I don't see the advantage of riding a segway.

All laughs aside.

I can think of a few advantages of shooting from a segway platform.

Anyone ever tried heel toe heel toe advancing forward while firing?
Unless u practice a lot, you're sights will start bouncing.

Now imagine shooting from a stabilized platform. Ive been on a segway before (ONCE) and it was smooth as balls. Shooting from a segway would allow you to advance and keep a stable sight picture, allowing say a critical first shot or follow up shots to be on target. Shooting full auto or burst requires a very good squared off stance, as displayed by some of the chinese.

That aside, how the hell are they steering the thing? Do they have knee actuated levers? How does it know when to stop?
I imagine in an actual firefight, holy crap. The friendly fire would be through the roof. After the firing begins, that guy with the AK would be all over the place. That recoil from the rifle would throw his balance off and God forbid if his selector level is on auto. Good idea but horrible execution, if they were online or somewhat more staggered, but that picture shows them stacked.

These things are steered by leaning/tilting your feet. It would be amusing to see the guy try to keep going forward while shooting in full auto, or the dedicated marksman try to keep a stable platform after taking that recoil to the shoulder.

Is that a bolt-action... or a crossbow!? Almost looks like that black bipod thing under the barrel is holding a few arrows! (Note the neon orange and yellow feathers) :p

Are there such thing as type 79 kits available anywhere? Semi-auto receivers? I'm really wanting one of these about now. heh
