I have the the NDS-2SF with no kit for it and wondered if it would work for the Romy kit I have.

No, the ejector is longer and magazine well is smaller.

Do you know where I can get a parts kit for it?

I got my fixed stock kit from ORF a while back. Looks like they still have some folders as well.

Thanks for your help Jeff. I'm new to the AK world but I've already noticed parts kits are disappearing fast so I would like to get a few things put away for the uncertain future. I have a Polish underfolder being built right now and I'm wondering if I should stay with 7.62x39 to keep things simple. I posted some receivers in the firearms for sale section tonight. Do you think the NDS-3 receivers are fine or would you pay extra for the NDS premium receivers?

NDS3s are great for Romy Gs, but I'd spring for the premium receivers for the more desirable (read: expensive) kits. I like the option to have selector markings and custom serial numbers added to the receiver.

But for basic blasters like the Romy Gs it's hard to justify the extra money.

I'm a fan of the 7.62x39 round for the AK.

For the smaller calibers I'm trying to decide if I want to sink more money into reloading gear for .223, like a Dillon 550/650/1050, or just buy a ton of 5.45x39. Looks like .223 reloads come to about the same price as 5.45x39 surplus, but I doubt the price for Bulgy/Russian milsurp will stay that low.

The fact that I'm pretty broke right now is helping to keep me on the fence. :)
