Century Arm International, the importer. 1945 behind the front or rear sight? If it's behind the rear sight, it's the date of production. There should be a triangle with an arrow (Izhevsk) or a star (Tula) near the date which would indicate the arsenal of production. Lots more info here:

Here is a link to help identify the markings on your rifle: http://7.62x54r.net/MosinID/MosinMarks01.htm

The electro pen markings are the importers markings which all importers have to put on an imported firearm and this appears to have started appearing on guns imported into the US ever since the 70's. Different importers electro pen their details on different parts of the gun. Some like Inter Ordnance electro pen Mosins on the top of the receivers, which is very unsightly. Others will put their importer's marks on the barrel or the side of the receivers, where it's a little more subtle. Some collectors are more concerned about the placement of the importer's markings, than others.

...on the left side it has C.A.I Georgie UT...

That should be Georgia, VT, the town in Vermont where Century Arms is located.

Well, Century is currently selling Excellent condition M44's for about $85 (if you have a C&R). With the aftermarket stock on yours, I'd think that would knock the value down a bit.

I"m selling it with both the original and the aftermarket.

How do you determine if it's C&R

Caldude was referring to having a C&R (FFL03) license. Then you can buy C&R eligible rifles from Century Arms and other out of state dealers shipped direct to your door. You can get them at Big 5 on sale for about the same price plus tax and dros fees.

The rifle is considered C&R eligible if the rifle is in it's original configuration and over 50 years old in California.

Getting the C&R license is the cheap and easy part ($30 for 3 years), but stopping yourself from blowing all your cash on cheap C&R rifles the hard part.
