Can someone point me to a manufacturer that makes a semiauto
in either .22 mag or .17 HMR?

Thanks!

Ruger?

Volquartsen and GM make 17HMR barrels/kits for 10/22 WMRs. There might be other manufacturers as well.

I don't think Ruger makes 10/22 .22 mag anymore, hence my question.

sorensen440: thanks!

You might want to look for used ones. You will end up keeping just the receiver anyway. I saw one at a local shop the other day -- it was expensive though.

Volquartsen still sells 17HMR and 22WMR models.

Well, there's the Mitchells Black Lightning http://www.mauser.org/rifles/Black%20Lightning/index.htm

Or the Excel Arms Accelerator http://www.excelarms.com/acceleratorrifle.html

They both look about the same so I don't know if they are both made by Excel. Early Excel rifles had some issues, but the latest reviews I've read indicate that they've gotten a lot better. Usually they've have magazine/feeding problems.
