Practicing video tapping police before open carrying! Since we will be filming police during open carry after incorporation of the 14 amendment, why don't we practice with other constitutional rights like the first, forth, and fifth amendment while we wait.

That idiot mostly deserved it, not for being an idiot in the first place, but for getting right up in the LEO's face like that. Just a lowly civilian here ;), but if an unknown person suddenly got out of a parked vehicle and approached me like that, then started getting in my face and making unexpected hand movements, warning lights start to go on....

The complaint form (#3) is super weak...you don't call police dispatch to make a complaint. Then they sent him to the watch commander like they should but since he was probably away from the desk for any number of reasons and was'nt able to take it. The phone at the watch commanders desk is'nt for any particular person it's whoever is watch commander at that moment. Next time they need to call the front desk. In the last one as soon as the Officer had to stop his investigation because the camera man refused to back up out of the crime seen and obey a lawful order to move his vehicle off the roadway he was good to go.

We have enough people in hot water over the unloaded open carry already, and this tapes are useful to show the expected treatment we will recieve when we open carry.
I suggest that after incorporation happens, that key leaders, lawyer types get together and create legal defense packages that are ready to go before anyone open carries.
It may be necessary to run legal cases specifically on that issue. We may luck out on some of these open unloaded carry arrests, but I don't think so.
Someone may have to get arrested so that the law can be challenged, ideally someone who has no time/job/family obligations would be a good candidate, someone who is retired and who can sit in jail if necessary.
They had open carry marches in Ohio a few years ago, but that was after the Ohio Supreme court upheld a challenge on the ban on carrying concealed weapons by saying people had the right to open carry and therefore a ban on concealed carry was not a violation of the RKBA in state constitution.
Prior to that anyone who would open carry would be arrested for disturbing the peace by causing a public panic. After that ruling, gun groups organized open carry marches throughout the state.
Big point.
1. Their courts recognized RKBA and sanctioned open carry.
At this time, we have neither.
When we have both, then we can consider the Ohio type marches, the lone open carrier walking in public and we record what the police do, on video.
Perhaps various combinations could be done, who knows.

We may have only one person on this board who is in lukewarm water, but that still is one too many persons in trouble for a non crime.
For most people on this board, getting involved in anything that can bring criminal charges, even minor ones, will cause alot of trouble for us.
Potential jail time is something most of us can't risk. I realize the jails are overcrowded, but in our cases, I'm sure that the system would find space for us because our persecution of gun owners like us is done for public education.

maybe. I didn't watch them all. what i see mostly is cops overreacting.
this kind of thing is going to get worse as cops keep getting taped and don't get the word that they can't rely on lying their way out of these situations anymore.
in the long run, it should be a good thing.

Muni-code not even filled yet if ever, pffft. US Marine arrested on the Fourth of July for bearing an unloaded arm. I'll take that every Fourth of July. Next year it will be a loaded arm, and I'll be walking shoulder to shoulder with him (or her)!
and Matt will be video taping (to keep things on topic),
