What evil features can you have installed if you have the bullet button conversion installed on your AR?

Any feature is okay as long as the overall length confirms to CA law and barrel length confirm to federal law. These include,

-Pistol grip
-Flash hider
-Folding stock (as long as overall length does not make it a SBR).
etc.

Magazines MUST be 10 rounds or less. Grenade launchers are destructive devices. If you have a question about a specific feature, ask.

I have a 16.5 inch barrel, but what is the CA legal length?

My personal understanding:

Under 12276.1(a)

-pistol grip
-forward pistol grip
-flash supressor
-folding or collapsible or thumbhole stock
-grenade or flare launcher

are potential AW features.

These evil features are only evil on a detachable mag, centerfire, semiautomatic rifle.

The idea behind the bullet button is to render the mag non-detachable without the use of a tool.

California does not have any strange barrel length requirements beyond Federal law.

16" for rifles
18" for shotguns

However, CA has an overall length requirement of 30" min. for all semi-automatic centerfire rifles. Don't go below that, and you're good.

With a bullet button and a 30" long gun, you can have as many evil features as you want. The more the merrier! :)

My AR is about 36.5", so I should be good. I will post some pics here soon.

if your lower isn't listed and you have a BB installed you're GTG.

Yeah it's not listed and I do have a bullet button. Thank god, this states gun laws are pretty confusing especially coming from VA.

night vision scopes, grenade launchers and sound suppressors should never be added to an off list build.

With a bullet button, ten round magazine and a non listed lower, you can put anything up to and including a live weasal or "other things" on your rifle legally :).

Man... That's a GREAT idea! Talk about one mean little holdout weapon.

If you legally own and can use those, why would it mater what rifle it's on? You couldn't put a legally owned grenade launcher on a featureless OLL, but you could on a BB build.

nv scope is ok w/o illuminator. grenade launcher is verboten. supressor is an nfa item.
live weasel would be ok but a ferret would render it illegal, they are banned (like flare launchers)

The weasel is banned as well as the ferret, but flare launchers are not banned.

I have a one-eyed badger on mine (requires a special flat-top mount due to their size). Man, that thing is fierce.

That better not be a picture of you. That is an illegal AK I see there, being that it has a pistol grip and a high-cap mag ;)
