what muzzle device would you use for 9mm ar mmg build? there aren't any 9mm specific compensators right? just a thread protector?

I went with a thread protector but if you go with a brake tenpercent carries a 9mm brake.

ooh problem solved.

now that got me thinking... i could just get the barrel cut down so there's no threads..... once i have a pistol lower. that'd be pretty cool.

wait... can you just have a bare threaded barrel as long as it's great than 16"

You don't need to run a 9mm buffer and the funky spacer if you are running an A2 stock.
Just stay with the A2 buffer and spring.

Now, if you are running a magblock that supports a bolt hold-open, you will want my buffer spacer no matter what buffer system you go with to keep from breaking bolt catches.

i remember reading somewhere where you described a procedure for checking bolt over travel and i can't find it now.

I could not find schurters that fit 9mm AR threads. The only thread protector I found that fits 9mm ARs was on Ebay, seller dock1029 . It was about $10 with shipping. The threads on my RRA 9mm upper are 1/2 x 36 and length was 5/8 inch.

Below is a link to the seller. He does not have thread protectors listed today but relist them every couple days.

The muzzle brake would probably be the best bet, but I sure like the fake cans too.

I went all out with my build, even though I am using the Bullet Button, it woudl work for a featureless build.
