TonyM, do you have a picture of the BB installed on yours? Is it just as easy to install one in a 556 as it is in an AR? Thanks.

Now the $800 dollar question....

Will it show up as a box of rocks?...

The two pictures you show look to be 2 different rifles. The top having the BUIS and the bottom not. Also, the top appears to have something mounted beneath the front handguards that the bottom picture doesn't.

Man that sounds too good to be true. Hope he has some good feedback from other buyers...

It's exactly the same as an AR on the Button side, goes in just the same. Here's mine when I first got it:

Not sure why/how this applies, but on top of it, you have to qualify to purchase from that site at those prices.

This website offers additional discounts on firearms and related accessories to qualifying customers, including: Law Enforcement Officers, Active and Retired Military Personnel, National Guard and Military Reserve Personnel, Firemen, Security Officers and many other qualifying customers (http://www.budspolicesupply.com/catalog/le_info.php) . You must provide a copy of your qualifying credentials in order to receive the advertised discount price.

When it it supposed to arrive. It's the "I convinced him to ship to CA" that scares me. You went through a dealer and got a CFLC and everything?

If it's a private party none of that is required.

Even though the things you mention are true, I have a feeling this is the same rifle, even though it's even a different magazine in each pic.

The reason is that if you look at the top pic, the front sight is not in the gas block and looks to me he put one on the top rail of the receiver. In the lower pic, the accessory and BUIS are removed, but the folding front sight is still not in the gas block. I haven't seen too many of them with the front sight removed w/o a replacement.

I'm keeping my hopes up for 69Mach1 here.

I've covered myself. I mailed a US postal money order with signature confirmation. The guy also has at least 20 positive feedbacks on the forum, and I got his home address. This came up at a perfect time. I have an open DROS that had to be filled, and it's already been over 10 days. That means when it gets here, I can take it home the same day, along with the other two rifles I have coming in.

You know...I came over the shop the other day and Ralph showed my your GPU line-up. All I could say is they're nothing less than sweetness! I'm glad that you'll be taking some with you 'cause after handling...uh fondling...one in person, it definitely sparked great interest. Looking forward to the shootout and I'll see you then.

I just saw the ad at the other board where you bought this from. He has good feedback so I don't think you anything to worry about in regards to receiving it.
Heck, if I would have seen it I would have done the same as you did in asking to buy it and I already have one.

You might want to take a look at the rail on your rifle, if it is a lower serial number gun. My serial number is in the 1800 range and the screws in it stick out above the rail. Also some guns had canted rails. The guns above serial number 4000 should be ok.

Will the bullet button fit an FN SCAR?

69Mach1
09-07-2008, 2:19 PM
The AR BB won't because of the round mag release button on the FN SCAR, plus the other problem of an ambi mag release.

Don't need it. Just keep the thing dissassembled until a BB can be invented. Or fix the stock, remove flash supressor, and remove the pistol grip. So when the SCAR light and SCAR heavy comes out, jump on them.

Yes. Just want a wanted. A disassembled rifle.

I want to shoot!

I want the SCAR!
