I was wondering if any of you have any experience with the E-Z THROW II? There are some clay targets on sale at a local Sports Authority and I was looking at different clay target throwers. I cant really justify spending 100 + on mechanical throwers and I would only use it while camping just to have fun with. Does this manual thrower work???

THANKS!

i was fairly speculative purchasing one for myself. but after seeing its successful use at burro canyon one weekend i was sold on it. i dont do enough clay shooting to buy an expensive launcher either, so this is a great affordable alternative. they work suprisingly well for their cost, so you really can't go wrong.

box of clays, 9 dollars
ez throw launcher, 6 dollars
box of target shells, 15 bucks

countless hours of fun and still having money for gas afterward? priceless!

p.s. if one day you do decide to look into a 'fancy' launcher, the trius 1 step is supposed to be one of the best in the 100.00 dollar league.

They're great if you don't want to spend the money on a mechanical. I still use them to this day if I don't feel like lugging around a big thrower. Takes a couple throws to get used to if you've never used one but once you do it works great.

Watching my girlfriend try to use it for the first time was pretty funny. She actually almost hit me with a clay at one point but she got it down and is able to throw very consistent now. Just remember to snap your wrist.

Sure glad I live in San Joaquin county, our local wallymart has a nice selection of ammo on most days.
