I placed an order for an LMT Defender 2000 lower (http://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=124) and got a call from one of the guys at Rainier Arms saying that they wouldn't ship it out...can anyone recommend a place that would dissasemble an LMT lower and ship it?

Its legal...most places wont ship it because it is complete.
Just call LanWorld: http://lanworldinc.com/
They can throw a BB or P50/1o round mag on it and send it out.

You can try Cold War Shooters as well. I've seen them carry it at gun shows in the past with a bullet button pre-installed.

I'm surprised, Rainier has been shipping lowers for a while... It's probably just apprehension because it's built.
LanWorld or ColdWar or TenPercent should be able to help you.
I ended up getting it from CWS even though it was slightly more expensive. Thanks for the suggestions everyone!

It's definitely legal. I have one. It came (indirectly) through LanWorld Inc. They will help you out! Or, just talk to Jimi at Bay Area Gun Vault; he'd be able to hook you up.
