Hello guys.
Was wondering what the best 10 rd mini 14 mags are?
I know the factory ones are impossible to find and over priced.
Are the promag ones good? Are the plastic eagle ones good?
Please give me your inputs.

I have a couple of new never used mini 14 mags for sell, they are made by John Masen Company. You can read the reviews on these mags at www.midwayusa.com

John Masen magazines are good and a little bit longer giving the appearance of being higher capacity. The down side is that they have a painted finish and seem to rust on me. They were a little tight at first in my 580 series, but work great now. Reliability has been 100%

I also have a couple ProMag 10 rounders. Like their 20 and 30 round magazines, the ProMags look as though they have been built on Ruger tooling. Fitting has been real tight and I've even needed to file them a little to lock into my new 580 (oddly, my 15 year old 20 and 30 rounders locked in with no problems ). Reliability on all ProMags has also been 100%

I also have a couple old USA 30 rounders that are of dubious quality, the floor plates keep moving forward and reliability is not real good. While these are not 10 rounders, I would stay away (especially considering Masen and ProMags are easily obtained and relatively cheap).

Like all rifles with detach mags, run a bunch of them, and save and cherish the ones that work reliably. I have a bunch and I'll check them out when I get home and post which ones work for me and the ones that don't :D

Damn shame Ruger doesn't manufacture a factory 10 rounders. I got a couple from Numerich, dont know the manufacture, but they are not good at all.
