Pardon if this post shouldnt be here but I will move to the WTS section once I know how much to ask for. This is a complete Colt Sporter Upper with a Midwest none float rail with guards and VFG. I will include the NCSTAR 9x scope already zeroed at 100 yards. I am meticulous about cleaning so its in great condition. Approximately 3K rounds fired. I have no idea what price range to ask. Thanks.

Good thing you are including the tango down VFG. They are next to impossbile to get on/off without filing.

$800.00

800 bucks? With 3,000 rounds through it? Sounds a little high but hey it is a very nice looking upper.

With scope and bolt carrier, I would pay 800 bucks. The scope alone has to be worth a bit ;)

3,000 rnds is nothing really IMHO

One cannot formulate a reasonable number until the following are known:

is it a chrome-lined barrel?
what is the bbl profile: gov't profile, or HBAR (no taper under handguard)?
what's the barrel twist rate - 1/7" or 1/9"?
are we 100% sure the bbl/upper/bolt + carrier assy are true Colt?

Sorry, but serious Colt buyers will probably not care about the NcStar scope. Sell it separately to someone who wants one.

$800 is $300 more than I paid for my Colt Sporter complete rifle back in 1993 (from Turners Outdoorsman). :D

Yeah, I get it. But I think it's just more sad than funny.
Comedians say "Comedy is tragedy plus time." So I suppose for me it will be funny in about 20 more years.
