Anyone order this kit?

I'm kinda on the fence about it. Custom color: cool. Dropping $200 (soon to be $225) on it: not cool.

What are you guy's thoughts?

I just wish they offered the MIAD grip. I know, I know... that would add $$$ to the price.

Actually, for $200 it's a banging deal. The CTR and the FUG go for $100 a piece normally. In this case, you get a MOE pistol grip AND some rail panels. Awesome savings!! BTW thanks for bringing this to our attention. Good looking out.

Yea, I figured that. That means I have to sell my existing CTR & FUG if I do pickup the kit. It's a good deal, I'm just wondering if I should drop money on it, that's all. I figure I could get $150 for my existing CTR and FUG together. That's only $50 up front for the kit.

Oh god... someone talk me out of pulling my credit card out... must... resist...

ahhh... forget it... I'm placing an order :D

If they made the kit in olive drab I'd nut my pants in an instance.

How do you like the FUG? I'm tempted to buy one because my current forward grip is a POS and doesn't feel solid when its attached. Only thing stopping me is price but I know Larue makes top notch stuff

Plus side: everything - the multiple sizes, the attachment is fast and completely solid, the storage, etc.

Down side: the QD handle can sometimes be "felt" with a high hold (not the most comfortable) and there's no "pocket" for a pressure pad (but you won't really care).

I like it. I would recommend it for someone that doesn't care about cost. There are other options for less if the cost is an issue.

Just a suggestion...

Buy the UDE set
You can probably make money if you'd rather have black trading and selling the pieces.

In fact, I'd be happy to buy the rail panels and swap for the UDE VFG my black.

Just sold my old black CTR and FUG. Making this kit only $50 for me... not bad. I already placed an order for UDE... the illness is back again.

Kit came in today. As usual, LaRue & Magpul quality products. The color is awesome!

Looks fantastic... really is a good deal, if you break it down. I like the mixing/matching of those rails ladders...

Knowing Lauer... UDE DuraCoat is probably close to finished. They're awesome about mixing every color under the sun.

My only wish is that they'd UDE a UBR stock instead of the CTR :43:.
