And some complaints of my own.

Well, im now 38 hours into creating some fixed magazine kits for a very fun gun....

Thats 38 hours of me standing in front of a milling machine, prototyping and turning out some bullet button/raddlock style locks. I dont have any fancy CNC stuff, its all done by hand.

38 hours and i've got all of 9 completed, granted alot of that time was doing the initial 15 prototypes trying to get the design just right, but still my body aches, its hot, im covered in coolant and chips of steel and i want to go home and sleep since i have to wake up and work tomorrow morning. But i've got to get at least 20 of these things done by morning.

If you guys are good i might just post some pictures tomorrow when alls said and done.

While this isnt my first compliance kit design, it still sucks to sit here machining them all by hand.

And to everyone who has designed the prince 50, bullet button, raddlock, or any other fixed magazine kit designs, I'd like to thank you guys. Coming from a guy who has sat there and designed them and made them, just so everyone else could enjoy the guns that everyone else in free america gets.

I just feel like everyone goes out and orders or buys their compliance kit of choice and never really realizes how much time was spent designing, and testing of the actual kits themselves. So, I'm at least thanking you guys for doing it, if you hadn't I doubt that there would be so many of the neat things we enjoy being here in california.

Oh, I realize. That's why I cheerfully pay the asking price for bullet buttons and MMGs. They build a product that is useful to me, and I say "thank you" by giving them money.

Capitalism works! ;)

Hah, well being able to make money off of these dumb laws helps relieve the pain that said laws inflict on me.

As for the 38 hours...well welcome to the world of inventing stuff. I've probably thought about my new AK pistol design for hundreds of hours, and I still haven't finalized it. OCD is a *****.

haha, im the same way, just in prototyping the PS-90 kits i had about 90 hours.

For the FS-2000 kit im still working on....its been almost 8 months with a few prototypes and alot of thought and sitting there trying to make new parts.

the current ones are very simple small parts, but take forever to machine by hand...
