Just wondering if the addition of the 2 shot mag tube is legal here? I have the fixed stock with pistol grip.

Thanks...

Yes, it's legal here but you will have to comploy with 922r if you install it.

Excuse my lack of legal knowledge... I've searched for 922r, I've heard it before here on calguns but I am unsure of the regulation. Could you point me in the right direction or tell me about it?

thanks

see? I learn something new every day... I thought 922r would become a factor if your +2 extension was domestic in origin or increasing capacities to beyond what ANY M4 variant came stock with.

Which, AFAIK, isn't possible, since there aren't enough US made parts to buy. You can, of course, make them yourself.

www.davesmetalworks.com has at least 2 of the parts for 922r he's working on a 3rd, or it might be done now.

Which brings up the same idea again... Randy, you touted this early on, IIRC...

That Benelli themselves sold them, touted them, used them... in fact, I believe some were sold to civilians with the full capacity already. The whole idea that they're now being told to change things says that the gov screwed up before...

I think you'd have some pretty strong legs to stand on that a 7-rd M4 is exempt from 922(r).

To the best if my knowledge Benelli sold M4 mag tubes to the general public to put on their shotguns. They also sold extension tubes for the M1's I have had a few Benelli tubes.

People on here are worried abuot 922r Dave is trying to give them a place to go so they won't worry.

Also as far as I know the ATF "asked" Benelli not to import the tubes not that they couldn't. I don't know if this is true or not.

which parts on the M4 count toward the 922r compliance? I have a US made mag tube, US mag follower and tactical bolt handle. I think surefire made a forearm also.

If you have a USA made one piece mag tube with follower and a SF forend I think that would comply. IMNAL
