Where do you guys buy your shotguns and/or accessories (parts, barrels, ammo, etc)?

Looking for a good place locally or online to make monetary donations.

I get my Benellis from Oaktree or Turners in Reseda. The add on stuff mag tubes, extended bolt release, big head safetys, barrel nuts, and custom work comes from www.davesmetalworks.com
I don't have any ninja stuff on my guns. For that either a gun show or Brownells

Bought my gun at big 5 on special. I buy my accessories online most of the time through Midway USA - they have a really extensive catalog.

It depends on what type you are looking for... Pump or semi-auto? For the run of the mill pump action 12g you can't beat big 5 for the Mossberg 500 or Remington 870 express. Semi auto, you might be able to find a little better deal online through the above mentioned vendors than a local shop.

Parts? Midway, Brownells and some others, although Midway will probably have a better aftermarket selection with Brownells having more factory type replacement parts.

J and J in Santa Ana carries alot of Mesa Tactical products. Mesa is the best stuff I have ever seen for SG's.

Do you guys pick up your shells at Big 5 also?

If you're looking for simple birdshot, Walmart is probably your best bet. Big5 is usually expensive...especially for buckshot.

Like Vinny mentioned, Big 5 is really expensive for shells and really most ammo they sell. Walmart sells regular value packs of 100rds for around 21 bucks. They are a general birdshot/clay sporting round. For general practice they are fine. If you're looking to buy other rounds like buck, Walmart has the Winchester value packs of 00 in 12g for around $9 for 15rds. I'm assuming of course this is for a defense type shotgun. If not they do have some other types of shells. Ammuntiontogo.com has some pretty good deals on bulk buckshot and other stuff. Natchezz and Midway have just about every type and brand of shell you can think of. Good luck.

If you want cheap 7-8 shot for bustin clays or steel targets; it's hard to beat Walmart's pricing and convenience.

For more exotic shells, (6 shot +) I mail order from Natchez in quantity enough to make the shipping not such a big deal per box of ammo.
