DGM Parking Lot Ammo Sale

[What Just Happened?]

Just to let everyone know that Discount Gun Mart in San Diego is having their parking lot sale tomorrow (Saturday).

Of note:

Fiocchi .45acp for $13.99 / box of 50
PMC .223 for $7.99 / box of 20

Not spectacular deals, but it's ammo at prices that Wal-Mart had earlier this year.

yes, it is, the question is, how good is this fiocchi ammo, I have never used it.

Fiocchi is excellent, used to use it in practical pistol.Reloads well,good brass.

It has better brass than the current euro-WWB.

Well, I did ended up going and grabbed 20 boxes of it. I waited, waited, waited, waited, waited, waited, waited, waited, waited and got pissed off and ended up putting them back after waiting 45 minutes. Tooo many people and only one cash register:confused: I ended up going to Wall Mart and bought 1k rounds instead.
They need to bring another register for these kind of events, it looked so unorganized.

Fiocchi is hotter, cleaner and better brass than WWB - so it was a nice deal.

Who cares if it takes days to get and keeps you from being able to make it to the range? ;)

I like Fiocchi but I realized in many of the loadings a few years back it became repackaged Hungarian MFS ammo with a brass colored jacket on the bullets.

I bought some of the Hungarian MFS ammo in 9x19 and .45acp and had a few problems with it circa 1999/2000.

Any other deals were to be had?

Instead of geting the 100 count box of 45 at wally I get the blazer 50 count box. buying two boxes of blazer is 2$ cheaper than buying the 100 count box
