I decided to give the 3Bucc brass catcher a try. I mounted it up and it fits good, doesn't seem to impede any operation of the rifle and doesnt effect your sights.

Going to Angeles tomorrow will post a report after use.

Ive always wanted something to catch brass, but i cant stand the looks of those things haha..That one doesnt look to big and bulky like some of the ones ive seen

Bush master makes a deflector (cant hardly tell its mounted on the gun) that makes the brass shoot down torwards your feet, at least the brass will stay close..

Let us know how you like it...I was at angeles last sunday, and i swept my 223 brass in a huge pile, turned around to place my broom against the wall and like 3-4 ppl rushed and grabbed hand full of my brass and took off in different directions, so i def need something..

What other mounting options are there? That's right where I mount my Aimpoint.

You'll need to mount the aimpoint back a bit, or on a handguard in front of the front of the receiver. it has to mount on the front most location of the upper receiver to line up to catch the brass. I've used it with my NCell Eotech and ACOG w/o a problem. Just make sure the front most mounting point on the receiver is available.

That's hilarious! Were they circling overhead beforehand?

I've never had much luck that way. Most women can't tell the difference between military and commercial brass, and I'm not one to want to have to swage primer cups.
