Dilema.

I am selling some items in (Classifieds) to:

1) recoup/replenish the cost of purchasing a rifle recently and

2) was looking at another item.

Well I saw the ad for the M25 Whitefeather.

Since the rest of the stuff is not selling at my asking prices and I don't want to give them away, I have a couple of choices:

Sell a cobination of guns from

My Sig collection

P225, P226 Gray Guns, P228, P230, P239 and P245

or

My S&W wheel guns

66-1, 66-2, 66-3, 19-5, 28, 29, 629, 686

What to do?

I have not convinced myself to sell these yet. I bought all of these since September of last year. Some I made specific trips down to SoCal to get them (66-1 and P230) and several others were trips to the Bay Area for transfers.

lots of time on the road and $s etc.

Sell the stuff you can live without - Some of the Sigs. Those 629 and 686 are replaceable also.

I'm kind of interested in your P226. If you are going to end up selling it let me know :)

The 686 6" is an easy one to let go. the 629-1 8 3/8" is a bit harder to let go. One of the 66's is an LAPD 6" 38 special not .357.

The Sigs will be easier to let go except for the P230.

LewDog:

You are second in line on the P226. The one ahead of you may or may not take it (waiting to hear from him and I gave him sometime to come up with $s).

I don't want to run afoul of mods and admins here as far as trying to sell stuff outside Classifieds. that's not my intent.

I wouldn't give up those 66's. 230 Sigs do come up. That should get you about +2k.

I would suggest you keep them.

I honestly feel the Whitefeather is really overpriced for what it is.

Totally agree with you on that one.

Just keep them and save your pesos for the whitefeather later on down the road.

Well I kind of meant in a sense that a M14 isn't exactly the best platform for a semi-auto SWS. If I was gonna spend that much scratch on a semi-auto tack driver, it would have to be a KAC SR-25 which retails for a lot less and is a lot more accurate than the Whitefeather.

The Whitefeather in question is $2800.00 not the retail of $4K-$4.4K.

Now you know why I have the dilema.

Well. I made my decision and added 4 Sigs and a S&W to the existing Classified add.

Have you considered prostitution?
