Hi:

I'm looking at the M&P 15 from tenpercent. I have a Mini-14 and was thinking of having a new stock (w/cheek plate), bedding, trigger, barrel and gas block before I found the M&P at tenpercent.

1) What are your opinions of the M&P 15?

2) What are you opinions of tenpercent?

3) When going to the range what paperwork do you take with you in-case there is a question about the legality of the rifle? Obviously, I never have a problem with the Mini-14.

Thanks for you help!! :)

Wes is an extremely nice guy and runs a good shop. I would definitely recommend him.

The M&P is a decent rifle, definitely a cut above many others out there. For a little more money I would highly recommend stepping up to this:

You get a much, much better product.

I don't take anything with me, but if it makes you feel better, I would print a copy of SB23, the flow chart and Harrot

Depending on what M&P-15 model you're looking at, you could also consider STAG rifles since they're the same thing.

THe MP15T is pretty nice with the Troy rail.
