What do you all recommend or own? Looking to get one soon for the 870, so the bag needs to accommodate one with a pistol grip and adjustable stock. Not looking for a hard case right now, need it to be durable and lightweight.

If you have pics, pls post them if you can.

Thanks

A cheapie $20 case will do...fits my 870 w/ knoxx

Its made by Browning, found at Turners for $20 (52'' I believe) They usually go on sale for $15. Much cheaper than a Pelican case, but with a shotgun you really dont need that much protection.

Actually it fits my 10/22 with scope (42mm) too

It sounds like I'm using the same case that v8 is. Yeah about 20 bucks. It's a rifle case 48" holds my Benelli with pistol grip and 21" barrel.

I think I have a 46" (marked as "M") scoped rifle case by Boyt. The padding inside is top notch and will last years.

It fits all the tactical length SG's and short rifles. As recently posted in this section, it even fits my 28 ga over-under without having to break it down. If only I had never wasted $12-$20 on all the cheap bags I have, I'd be halfway to having a long shotgun bag that I want.
