Hi all,

Please let me know your thoughts on the pros vs cons on the N4 Basic setup vs. the N4 Low Profile in 14.5".

Assuming a DD Omega (easy drop-in) is installed on the Basic, how does the weight compare between the two?

Also, how easily changed can the Noveske/SWS fore-end be changed in the future say, for a LaRue fore-end? Would this involve removing the barrel?

I also wonder if I can request the Recce Noveske fore-end on a 14.5" build. The 16" fore-end is a little longer, but I don't know how much this will affect weight and balance.

Thanks in advance for you advice.

Noveske will do anything you want. You wouldn't need to (or want) to swap the SWS rail for a LaRue - SWS is a nice product. If you're planning to spend the money now on a DD Omega you'd be MUCH better off buying it with the pre-installed SWS rail.

If you're gonna go with the RECCE rail, why not get the RECCE barrel? I would HIGHLY recommend this - as the RECCE runs a mid-length gas system.
