For sale is a Barska Benchmark 5-20x50 FFP mildot scope. Darned good quality, FFP makes it easy to learn or use mildots, seems sturdy. I've got to think that Barska is serious about going up market with this one. It is LNIB, mounted once to demo it.

MidwayUSA shows it at $349 + shipping. I'll offer it at $150 shipped.

Is this 50 cal BMG proof?

Is it illuminated rectile (I assume if so then not 50 BMG proof).

I know from some time ago, there were some models like the 42mm line that are similarly priced and stated 50 cal BMG proof.

Not familiar with this particular one.

They don't make such a claim, AFAIK.

But how much true recoil is there with a 50BMG after factoring in the muzzle brake? Thinking back to shooting a friends 50BMG, I don't recall it being anywhere near as harsh as an African bigbore.
