I'm a little stuck on where to go with my next build. I have thought about a dedicated 22lr Spikes and then again I've also thought of maybe an H&K USC build. Just not sure.

Here is what I have in the collection so far:

(From left to Right)
Henderson Defense AK-101
Stag-15 (10/30 mag)
JT Upper/DoubleStar lower
Del-ton mid-length/Spikes lower (10/30 mag)

(All have BB installed...except the AK)

Any suggestions?

Unless you have a 22lr cal rifle somewhere in your collection, that would be the direction I would go. Lots of places to shoot indoors with a 22lr build when the weather gets nasty.

I looked at some long range guns but there really isn't a lot of places around here to shoot them.

I am sort of leaning that way...given the cost of ammo these days

I will second the .22 idea...

:jump:Nice collection!!!! Total on the optics! Yep, 22LR should be your next direction. Cheap, cheap to shoot. Break the piggy bank open and get a Spikes ST22.

You have a lot of redundancy in your current builds, especially the two carbines.

Sell an upper and build a dedicated .22lr

Sell an upper and an optic (aimpoint or EOTech) and build a precision rifle (like a heavy barrel 20") with a scope.

Pick up a 28" barreled 870 and shoot some trap :)

Get a 10/22 or WASR 22 or GSG-5

Sell an upper and get a pistol caliber upper and magwell conversion

go shotgun

I have an 870:) Tomorrow I will grab 4 box's of shells and go to the range and have some fun. Reloading for 12 gage is easy and reasonably cheap. You never know ,you might be good at it. It's a real rush to shoot those clay birds;)

You need a rifle.
Those are all carbines.

Actually, this is not everything. I was just showing off my BRD with a little AK thrown in.

I have a few pistols and a mossberg 500.

I was actually thinking about selling the JT upper (with Spike's fake can and MI handguards... no optics). I had built this one for my wife and she hardly shoots it. It has maybe 150rds through it.

A precision 20" has been thought about...so that is a possibility. :D

Well your showing 3 AR style rifles why not a bolt action sniper? 30-06+

I had a M1903 Springfield years ago that I gave to my dad as a gift. It was a nice rifle. I have thought about getting a Remington M700 but I don't hunt much and there aren't really any sniper type ranges around here.

hey...any one have an idea on what the J&T upper would go for if I sold it? It's CAR length chrome lined A4 style upper...complete with bolt...has about 150 rounds through it
