I am waiting for my FFL to call me back.
Does anyone know if the Sports .22 stamped model is ok for a CA PPT at a FFL? Has 10 round mags.
I am getting diffrent answers.

Can you say "CALIFORNIA ASSAULT WEAPON?"
I actually PMed the buyer about his admitting to committing multiple felonies and he decided that he didn't care. Chances are that he has admitted to having an unregistered AW in the state AND offered it for sale. It will be interesting to see how this turns out.

He said it was registered and stamped as a sports .22 for the CA market.
Looked neat thats about it

Unless, you can find a bullet button for it or find it on the DOJ "exempt list" then, it is an AW since it is a handgun that has a detachable magazine well somewhere other than the grip. Also, if it's a "registered AW" he'd know better than to offer it for sale within the state.

Not worth the drive, time and meeting at a FFL to check it out.
Easier buying from FFL's.. Like the GSC .22.
Thanks for the feeback.

those guns only work with ramline brand magazines anyway
because of ramlines extra large ejector on the lip
since they have a magazine outside the pistolgrip unless it is fixed to a 10 rounder you are out of luck
trust me run fast and far away from that

Agree, I found out they do not work right with the older plastic 10/22 mags. They need to be steel mags.
Not worth the headache.
