I think I saw this mentioned on the Opencarry.org site. This is hilarious!!! I don't even know what a barrel shroud is, but I am pretty sure the two words would give me a clue!

It's great that these people have any credibility at this point. Without understanding what the bill seeks to ban, how can she claim that she has made an informed decision when voting on such a bill. Sad.

Gotta give the anchorman guy props too on how he stuck to his question and made her look like a huge idiot. 99% of the people in the media wouldn't have asked that question.

The scary thing is that this is also the case with most bills both gun related and not. These guys try to push so much legislation through that there is no way any of them can know the details of what they are trying to pass. Most laws that ban things have been proven to be inefective at preventing the problem that the law was intended to fix. The one that comes to mind is this new cell phone law that continues to allow text messaging while banning talking on the phone. There are also studies that show that talking on any phone regardless of whether it is hands free or not is equally distracting. California law makers like to pass "feel good" laws that make them feel like they are doing something when all they are doing is trying to control peoples lives.

I agree. I've seen at least one congressman admit to not reading the bills.
