no one at the moment, every vendor is bone dry.

*sidenote*.......Noticed your avatar. Senna is my hero. He was the sole reason I started to watch F1 back when he was piloting the awesome Mclaren Honda. I still remember the tragic day when He died. I remember watching On the tele., the aftermath of when he crashed, then seeing his head slumped over...' I knew then that my hero was dead.' Tragedy.

Glad to see that his nephew Bruno is doing well. Hopefully he can find a drive in F1 one day.

I bet you somebody on gunbroker.com has them. Or, there are vendors who will sell you rebuild kits (or disassemble regular mags for a fee) and send them over for you to LIMIT them yourself (make sure you do it right. If 11 cartridges go in, that's a misdemeanor).

i have not had good luck with C products 10/30. the first one i had only held 9 rounds. and even then, it was hard to push the magazine in. my 2nd one came with a 'fake' magpul self leveling follower.. which jammed horribly every few rounds. i just gave up and went with magpul. if you want to save yourself some headache you will too

Fake Magpul follower? lol

I think you got a Gen3 Magpul follower which would explain why you thought it was fake.

um, no. i have 2nd and 3rd gen followers and it looks nothing like any of them. it has none of the 'additional' features found on the magpul followers. its also not labeled anywhere

it also tilts more than a magpul follower

the 3rd gen are almost immediately identifiable because of its slick teflon-like texture.

um, no. i have 3rd gen followers in my 10/10 mags and it looks nothing like them. its fake and un-labeled

Notice gen3 does not have Magpul markings on them, only gen2 and gen1 has the logo.

the 3rd gen follower contains magpul patent numbers on the bottom as well as a "5.56" on the top with of course the additional features. so yes it is labeled and you can clearly identify it as magpul.

if you want to argue furthermore you can talk to C products which has already admitted to shipping their magazines with alternate 'magpul-type' followers

8ST56KJ, I could be wrong then.

I remember there were a few posts here about those mags and how people thought the gen3 followers were knock offs because no one knew that magpul had even come out with the gen3s.

I myself have a few C Products 10/30s and and a few riveted 10/20s, I have never had a problem with any of them.

On the 10/30s, if the mag will only take 9 rounds, bend those tabs on both ends of the mag that stop the follower down to a 90 degree angle and it will fit 10 rounds.

EDIT: those tabs are not easy to bend down so use a punch and hammer.

You guys are both right.

#1: The C Products 10/30 magazines have never come with a real Magpul follower. They are generic.

#2: The C Products 10/10 magazines once came with a Magpul Generation II follower. C Products tried putting them out with a generic folower that was different than even the 10/30 follower because it was dark gray had 5.56mm stamped in line with the round and it allowed 11 rounds to go into the magazine. The most recent 10/10 has a Magpul Generation III follower that has Magpul stamped on the bottom of it and 5.56mm stamped on the top front of of the follower.

It is true, C Products is having such a hard time getting the Magpul followers, they might soon eliminate them from their 10/10 magazines. I am not sure why the did it already on the 10/20s and 10/30s. Maybe they are molding their own to help with the tabbign of the mag or something.

I have never seen them with Gen IIs in them. Are you sure they are factory tabbed mags and not someone else's custom 10/30 job?

Hey akspetsnaz,

I have a few that I was gonna post over in the WTS forum they are factory CProducts 10/30 and mine are like jandmtv's factory tabbed, and real grey color gen2 Magpul followers... IIRC.

edit: Some are grey color gen2 Magpul and some are the dark gray alternate 'magpul-type' followers?!?

I ordered way too many from CWS they are all BRAND NEW I just need to make sure that they hold ONLY 10, hope they gave me what I orderd :(

Anyway hope this helps someone... I will post pics tomorrow to help further contribute to clearing up the follower debate.

Update: posted pics

We have received C Products magazines with quite an assortment of followers in them. The 10/30 magazines with the Gen II gray followers are the ones that only hold 9 rounds (due to the longer "legs" on the followers). The black followers in the latest batch we receive always allow 10 rounds. They seem to have a generic follower in the latest 10 round magazines, whereas the previous batch were the Magpul Gen III - they are all over the map with these.

I bought my 10/30 C products mag from Ten percent firearms in Taft, CA. I think it was like $30  but it drops free easily and locks in easily too, even with my "tighter" lower receiver. It holds 10, never gets hung up and seems pretty damn sturdy so far. I think it's the gen2 (gray and factory tabbed).

None of my 10/30s have ever had a Magpul Generation II follower.

I tell people I would rather buy the 10/10 for as low as $15 rather than spend $30 on the 10/30. However, people need the cool factor so I sell them to them.

If they only hold 9, thats better and safer.

What makes a mag holding 9 rounds instead of 10 better and safer?

CProducts 10/30 different versions Magpul grey color gen2 and dark gray alternate magpul-type followers:

*Note on the Floorplates the Magpul has a more matte/dull finish than the one with the magpul-type follower:

After testing limited 10 round "ONLY" mags from not just from CProducts but others all I can say is *PLEASE* check each and every mag VERY carefully before connecting to your OLL because YMMV either way which could possibly REALLY suck!

-they are all over the map with these.

Here is a WTS link to the ones I have verified hold ONLY 10 rounds:

Can you post a photo of two next to each other showing the sides so I can see the tabs?
