My Bro up in Julinan showed me an old family shotgun , is is a flintloick shotgun . To me this is the strangeset gun I have ever seen . Does anyone have any idea what this is . I did not have my camera but I will get photos in a month or so. He thinks its over 100 years old or more like 130 years . It did survive in a safe when his house burnt to the ground in the Ceder creek fire. the safe was in an old wood shed that must have burned quick and didn't get too hot.

It's a ......................... hard to say right now. Can you bring it a little closer and hold it under the light for me? Yea, now I can see it better. It appears to be a flintlock shotgun but, I won't be sure until I can actually hold it. If it's an original, it probably dates back to before 1830 or so. It could be a lot older.

For safety sake - I wouldn't try to shoot it.

It is a museum piece.
