Tapco fusion with Tapco FCG. That will get you down to the magic 10.

The CHEAPEST way is to go with a US receiver, Tapco G2 FCG, and NO pistol grip or muzzle device.

The Tapco G2 works fine, best in fact. Get a double-hook G2, and cut another slot for the second hook with a Dremel. It's very easy.

Drick prefers to build that receiver with the double-hook G2 trigger. It's the combo that I have.

The single-hook G2 will drop in, but can have and cause problems.

US receiver (1), Tapco G2 (3), No pistol grip (1), No muzzle attachment (1) = under the evil number of imported parts.

ETA: I walk away for 2 minutes and half a dozen people beat me to the punch.

If the Tapco break is US made it's fine, but you cannot put an imported one on (China, Romania, Bulgaria, etc.)

i have always wondered how people can tell if something is US made.. is it stamped on the part?

Usually, yes. Although some US parts aren't stamped, and some that are, aren't US made.

Some times you can tell where a part is made by the material it's made from.

FAL gas pistons are only made from stainless in the USA.

Sometimes there is only a letter stamp. I have seen US made HTS sets with only a C on them from Century.

The folks at the ATF lab can tell, I guarantee.

I have a Century gas piston which has no markings on it. You can tell from the metal it's not commie bloc manufacture. Either way, I kept the invoice for it, which clearly says "AK piston US made", in the unlikely event there is ever a query.

If your worried about the G2 single hook FCG on the NDS3, you can also go with the Arsenal FCG.

Eventually, maybe, but not any time soon.

furniture and fire control seem to be the only way

since no one in the usa makes a decent magazine, barrel, trunions, bolt, piston, carrier

The magic # is 10 . . . evil foreign parts maximum.
