Hey guys I just build a SPR (223) rifle and snagged a Seekins 308. Looking for some decent glass recommendations for each.

I have a Vortex Viper PST 2.5-10x44, but I am not liking the 44mm objective... So I will probably sell it. Anyway... There is a ton of decent deals in the EE just curious as to what you all thought would be nice fits on either or! Even if I can not find something used, I can always just pick it up new.

For the SPR, I'd suggest something mid to low range for magnification with an FFP reticle. The Vortex Viper PST 2.5-10X32 seems pretty well matched for the capabilities of the SPR. I'd also look into the Bushnell 3-12X44 Elite Tactical with G2DMR reticle and the Burris XTR II 2-10X42. Each one has advantages, the PST will be the most compact and light weight, while the Bushnell has the best reticle design and the Burris will be more robust and has the best glass of the 3.

Any of those 3 would work pretty well on a 308 too, although you might be wanting a bit more magnification at some point. The Burris XTR II 3-15X50 or 4-20X50 would be a good option worth looking into.

Haven't seen any reviews for it yet, but the new Primary Arms 1-8X24 might be worth looking into as well:

What's your budget for each? What type of shooting are you planning to do?
