I will be ordering from ALG... the most current version comes with two springs.

The two springs change the pull weight.

slightly off topic question, are these compatible with saiga-12/vepr-12? cheers

My ALG trigger came with two sprigs too. One for the disconnector though, the other to actually increase the pull weight. $49 and free shipping, fast delivery too.

Better than standard Tapco? Tapco is actually a pretty darn good trigger setup for me. So I'm just wondering. :)

Usually no, it all depends how Tapco was/is profiled, polished etc. Have two ALG's and many Tapco's...Some of the Tapcos are even better or it does not get any better.

I've been happy with my Tapco G2. I was just curious how much better the ALG would be. After the first range session the ALG breaks as crisp and light as my well used G2 just with less take up and over travel. I'd say it was worth the $49.

Pretty much the going rate, but no shipping charges can save you $6 or whatever the cost happens to be. Haven't seen any sales on them yet as they have only just released, all in due time though. That said, lowest I've ever gotten a QMS trigger for was $45 shipped and they are usually $45.

Geissele said on 9/7:

" . . . we will not put out something that is just not the very best.

"We can just nickel boron the parts but the feel with these surfaces rubbing against each other is just not right.

"I think we have found the right coating but there is some preparation associated with it (tooling) and we are working on that"

In the meantime, this shows up:

I bought a used WASR from a fellow Calgunner years ago. It had Tapco G2 trigger and I was really blown away by how smooth it is ever since first took it to the range.

Made a huge difference for me.
