along with a OLL for my first compliant build. pics to follow......
Congrats, I've always wanted one of those but never got around to it. By the way, where did you purchase it? City Arms in Pacifica are the only ones I know of that have it on hand. Otherwise it would have to be ordered....and yes, don't forget the pics.

Congrats! I don't think I've ever seen a Pointman 7 at any of the local stores here in Socal.
Be sure to post pics

here she is, i got it from budsgunshop.com for $833, its pretty sweet. it makes my kimber feel super sloppy, the slide to frame fit is super tight and the trigger is really slick with no creep at all.

Very nice, will have to add this to make my CBOB feel better. Good price too.

that's beautiful... out of all the 1911's in that price range it's certainly at/near the top of the pile (in my eyes). range report!! love the minimal roll marks on the slide... looks great!!

That's a great price BTW. I have the PM7 and the CBOB, if you like the Commander length you'll love the CBOB.
The rear sight on the PM 7 is excellent. And when you mention how tight the lock up is I figure most people envision it as being tight, as in minimal movement. Really, it's no movement at all. Press down the barrel hood - no movement. Grab the front of the slide & wiggle - it doesn't.
Very tight chamber though. If you have any reloads of questionable specs the PM7 will let you know.

i also have a colt XSE that i gotta wait 30 on to dros.
Very nice! Front strap checkering and a magwell would really make that thing a looker. Actually, the budsgunshop add for it has a typo stating 20LPI front strap checkering....I guess they meant to say MSH. Got me kinda excited for a while.
