If you watch HEROES you've seen this gun. It's an SVI 9mm built on a .45 frame for Colin Farrell's character in the Movie theater version of MIAMI VICE -- I got to shoot it today for a test article out at World Champ Taran Butler's SoCal range --

dead nuts on target and no recoil -- it sprayed brass like a... brass spraying garden hose... more to come...

You Monster!

By "no recoil," do you mean *plink*plink* .22 kind of recoil, or it just makes loud noises and you thought you confused it with a prop gun?:D

Wow, just wow. By looking at the pic you can clearly see that there ain't no recoil on that thing. That is one sick looking gun. I am drooling all over it.

Fiocchi commercial 9mm -- My daughter was taking these pics and here I was trying to empty a mag as fast as I could -- no Photoshop -- that's full recoil --

If you guys haven't ever fire a "race gun" you have to get your hands on one -- you grow up watching IPSC guys RIP through these targets and then get inspired, go to the range and try it with a standard over the counter 1911 with factory springs and 230 grain GI hardball and shake your head and wonder how they get back on the target so quickly and you feel like a schmuck and give up -- and then try one of these 40 or 9mm or 38 supers -- (or even a 45 with 185 gtrain loads ) and you get it -- shooting a gun can be fun -- you can see hits over the front sight and just fire again... I forgot how much fun this can be... My M1-as are going on the block -- I'm deadly serious -- I need a 9mm race gun like this!

Blasphemy! Sure, a couple 9mm 1911s may be ok, but to do away with .45 all together?! How could you?

Open guns are amazing and super fun but I like Production class the most. I know, I know.. I'm cheap. :)

The Kimber Warrior II in the pic above came out of the box today shooting dead nuts to point of aim. "cheap guns" can be fun, too -- the added weight of the Surefire X-200 helped tame the 230 grainers in it.

Here's a nice open gun, not a 9mm, but more than likely 38super. Easier to get to major power factor. Try to count how many rounds he shot and how many seconds it took him to shoot it. He should be a master class shooter and not known to miss his targets much as seen on reactive steel targets.

sho do... let me know if you put that TRP operator up for sale so that i can sell some stuff beforehand (a lung or kidney...) to purchase it!!

as far as the open guns, yeah, they're amazing... all that SV_ needs is a jpoint or doctor and you'll be good to go... since i don't have a money tree in my backyard i'd probably build a open glock (if i were to go open) due to price of admission... but since i still suck in production and L-10 (i don't shoot enough) it'd be kind of a waste for me to dump money into a open gun.

Wow, I didn't know the TRPs were that popular. I have two that have only been test fired at the factory, and have been sitting in the safe ever since. I might just post one up for sale...

That is a sweet firearm. Now Crockett may have used more than one handgun in the recent miami vice movie, but I thought (just confirmed via dvd and internet) that he used an SVI Tiki Infinity?
