Never mind the pic is up... Odd, the CA stamp on the CZ - never seen one before... What's the story behind that?

CZ-USA (which makes awesome pistols btw) was first based in Oakhurst prior to moving to Kansas City... kinda ironic to have a gun mfg based in California huh?

Well said...
Actually, there used to be hella gun "importers as well as mfg" businesses in CA. They mostly packed up for freer pastures. Also, I heard that CZUSA was actually an importer/ subsidiary company.

This is one of the transitional CZs in that the packaging is marked KS while the pistol still bears the Oakhurst, CA addy. CZUSA initially set up shop in CA, and in less than a year, packed up and moved to KS.

Another aspect of interest is that I bought it online from a Long Island gun dealer, who shipped it to Hoffmeyer's in Grass Valley for me. So this is a pretty well traveled pistol.

$350 + $15 shipping sounded like a good deal to me. Plus now I have another pistol to go with my CZ HiCaps.
As far as the long drive to and from Grass Valley;
I have other interests that take me through the area (Tahoe- Reno- 4th of Juplaya- Hot Aug Nights- Burningman etc) so I plan my ffl visits around them. Of course the fact that Hoffmeyer is a firefighter makes for a fun stay... sometimes we go shooting... I also try to attend the North San Juan Volunteer fundraisers.

Born on date is 96.

Campsite Sports on Long Island NY

The firearm dept had it sitting in their used gun section... stickered for $375. Claimed to have had it there for years already. The sales guy even mentioned that to his eye, it looked unfired. So, when I asked if there was a discount for out of state orders, they obliged by taking $25 off.

Y'all know this is a used gun, right?

Very nice gun. I've had a number of different 9mms but a CZ-75B SA I got has been the sleeper of the bunch. Accurate, solid, trigger gets better with use and always works (no FTFs). Had two BHPs, one in 9mm and one in 40 along with the CZ in 9mm. The CZ is so good that I kept that and got rid of the BHPs.
