After picking up my Sig P6 trade-in from the Entreprise group buy, I sent it to CCR for refinishing. While waiting, I also bought some add-ons:

Wood Grips
Rearsenal Kit
Night Sights

Here are the results. Thanks for everything Entreprise and CCR! It's now one of my new favorite HG's!

Wood grips and rearsenal kit was from Entreprise. But, I think they just ran out of the rearsenal kits.

I think I spent close to $450-$500 all together. It's been a while since the purchases, etc, but I could get back with you on prices in detail later...?

Here's a link to their thread. It'll have all the info you'll need to know. When you call, ask for Mary. She'll take care of you.

Where exactly did you get those wood grips?

I know Numrich has them and I have followed some links, but it just takes me to the p225 parts page and the only grips listed there say they are plastic.

I got them from the good fellas at Entreprise Arms. I'm not sure if they have anymore, but you could try giving them a call.

very impressive indeed. Would it be cheaper to refinish it with black?

I had the same question before refinishing. The work done on mine will cost the same if it was all black. According to Mary from CCR, it would only cost more if it was an obvious custom job, i.e. camo, etc.

might as well go with stainless imo....it's gorgeous.

Now to squirrel away some money and have that done on mine.
Right now I am not worried about the condition of mine but you just raised the bar.

I've always preferred black grips on silver guns (wood grips on black guns)... However, these look just beautiful.

Nice job.

Wow! She's pretty. Nice wood too! By any chance you still have your old plastic grips? I've been wanting to get a set in fair condition, well, as long as they are not cracked. Anyone wants to donate their old plastic grips to me, please PM me. Thanks. Sorry for the hijack.

Looks GREAT! Do you know the manufacturer of the wood grips? I have two of these coming in and I think I'll do one in silver and one in black....

Have you shot it at all? How's CCR's finish holding up?

I don't know who made the grips. I did purchase them from Entreprise Arms.

I've finally got to shoot it. As advertised on CCR's web advertising, the finish did hold up and I think it'll probably hold up better than the original finish. The action also feels much much smoother. According to CCR's website, Cerahyde is suppose to be the most abrassive resistant finish in the market. Overall, I'm real happy with it.:D

Man its like a Cinderella story. I am jealous of the way yours looks, I'm too lazy so I have to live with my P6 as an ugly duckling.

Very nice Sig! Though I own almost a dozen Sigs, the P225/P6 is one of the few Sigs I have never been too fond of, but you have an excellent piece there. And though I ignore almost 99.99% of P6 related threads, this one is worth commenting on. Good job! I wouldn't mind having that P6.;)

Damnit. I was planning on leaving my P6 as my beater gun, but now that I've seen this, I don't know if I can resist the urge!

FYI, those grips are Marschal Grips I believe. They have a nice assortment of P225/P6 wood grips. http://marschalgrips.com/?content=SIG-models. I had heard that they weren't making these grips anymore though.

The ones on marxdspot's p6 are Nill grips IIRC. The ones I posted later in are the marschal grips. I'll post it in comparison as soon as I get back my p6 from CCR!

The wood grips are made by Sile, a company no longer in production. Entreprise bought the last shipment from them. I have a spare set I'm selling on the forums right now.

Just sent mine in today. If all goes as planned I should have in back in October.

I wanted something a little different, so I went with this combo instead.

House Black slid/stainless frame. I'm having them add trijicon night sights instead of tru glows as in the pic.
