My local paper runs a poll/comment on a different current event every weekend. This weekend it's about the Heller decision. I thought there might be a few folks on this forum that could add some intelligent comments to what is sure to be a hot topic. Here's the link if you want to join in:

Did this. Unusually, they don't tell you how the poll is going even after you vote. Guess I need to check on Monday.

I voted and added my 2 cts. also.

Maybe the results are hidden so they can manipulate the numbers to better fit their agenda? I'm not familiar with that particular paper, but I wouldn't put it past some that I am familiar with...

Added my vote and comment. A nice and sane comment.

I don't think there is anything "funny" going on. They print the results of the survey in the paper on Monday mornings. This is a pretty conservative paper (certainly no L.A. times!), it's just not as sophisticated as some.

Thanks for the support...:)

Glad to hear that they're not into the usual media shenanigans...

Thanks to all of you who took the time to click on this. They apparently don't post the letters/results on line, but in the paper today, the results were 154 (92.8%) in favor of the supreme court ruling on Heller, and 12 (7.2%) against. I know it's not scientific, but something tells me that our representatives and the majority of the court system (at least in the prk) seems to be way out of touch with what the common people think. Imagine that!!
