If i recall correctly, there is a period in which you have to pick up your DROSed fire arm, after which the 10 day wait has to be done again.

Is that 30 days after dros is started or 30 days after dros ends? And if its past the period, then do i have to Pay dros fees again? GO down and sign again??

Asking because i have a lower i never had time to pick up. I was hoping to pick up this weekend. Just realized that the date it was originally first able for pick up was june 9th. That means 30days after DROS start has already passed, and 30days after 10day wait is quickly approaching.

30 days starts from when the DROS begins. After 30 days it expires and you have to pay the fee's and do it all over again.

#20 Is there a maximum time limit for me to pick up a gun after the dealer submits the DROS information?

Yes. If you do not take physical possession of the firearm within 30 days of submission of the DROS information, the dealer must cancel the sale. If you still want to take possession of the firearm, you must repeat the entire DROS process, including payment of DROS fees.

How on earth do you FORGET to pick up a gun you paid money for?

I've been on vacation while my 10 day wait ended, and I couldn't get into the store to pick up my gun fast enough when I got back! heh.

If it was something i could shoot the minute i picked it up, yea i wouldn't have put it off, but my buddy just paid for an extra one while he was down at the Memorial day sale for me. Plus i have some details to finish up on my first build before i can start up on the second. Add to that the fact that i work 13hr workdays 6 hours a week in downtown LA and that makes driving down to J&J during their normal operating hours a bit of scheduling task.

I'll pay what your buddy paid for it and pay the dros fee and take it off your hands if you want lol:D
