Hello all,

I know here in Cali there's not much chance to holster and carry the P6, but for those of you who have bought holsters for your P6 (not the issued one that came with the gun), what did you get?

I bought the Uncle Mike's paddle holster to use at IDPA matches. It works well for that purpose and cheap too!

Many folks have participated in 'open carry social events' so don't be surprised if you see this more often.

Good Luck!

Hello,

I just picked up my P6 from Turners last week. I bought a "Safariland ALS 6377 Plain Belt Holster Sig P225 RH" from eBay this morning. I'm going to try using it for a tactical handgun class. Good luck with your P6!

Out of curiosity...
Has anyone tried a Blackhawk Serpa holster?
I would think one made for the P229 may fit the P225/P6.

I know the Galco Concealable for a 228/229 fits the 225 pretty well. It's a little looser than designed, but fits rather snugly. I also know that CompTac makes atleast the C-TAC for the 225 (it's not on their website, but if you call you can order one) and I would therefore assume others were available as well.

Anyone know if there's a dropped offset holster made for the P6, perhaps a Blade-Tech? I DROSed mine at City Arms yesterday, and want something that works with my, er, female figure for IDPA and other pistol matches.

The De-Santis OWB (sold by Midway) that holds either the 225 or 228 works well.h

For Inside the waistband (at home or out of state carry), I have a Kramer Holster. Nice and stiff. Holds the P225 securely.

Does anyone have the Blackhawk leather holster series? Those have a version specific to the P225 pistols...

If I was to carry my P6 (legally of course) I'd use this

With one of these for my extra mags.

I'd use this

Though it's not for a Sig, at least you chose the picture with the right gun in it. ;)

What holsters would you guys recommend for a first holster? I want just a normal one on the belt for now. I'll get an IWB one later.

Depends on the use.
Asking what to get for a first holster is like asking what to get for a first gun or car.

The P6 isnt listed but if you give a tracing and post measured photos like I did for my Makarov, he can make you one nice holster. For 50 bucks+5s&H you can't go wrong and I feel the quality is excellent.

Here is mine. I got it with IWB and OWB capabilities.

I ordered one, also with OWB/IWB straps, for my P6 today--thanks for the recommendation! He didn't need a tracing, already had the pattern.

I use a Safariland 6378, very nice draw and comfy as well. As far as Serpa's go, I tried my friends P226 holster, it locked in fine, but was somewhat wobbly because of the extended trigger guard on the P6. I'm sure some dremeling of the holster would make it fit fine. Didn't have a P228/229 Serpa to try out, but didn't really see a point as it would probably have the same problems. Besides the Safariland is way better than the Serpa IMO.

I have a Bianchi Accumold 7001 size 11 (pn 17725 for RH) that fits mine nicely. I originally got it for a Ruger P95, but the fit wasn't too good, so it's been chilling in the holster box for years. It's a good quality, inexpensive holster, available for $30-35 on the web.
