Went shooting last Tuesday with Gir007 and one of his friends. We went to some BLM land over by Campo, CA. It was a nice area and it was freaking hot.

EDIT, just to clarify, that is not a road that you see us in.. The road is way behind us, that is actually a dry river bed that the Border Patrol uses every once in a blue moon to chase Illegals... :)

Gir007 and his buddy shooting..

Did/will you get a holster for her?

Nah.... I currently have like 10 different leather holsters for some of my guns and it came with a good holster. Maybe once I move to a free state I will buy her a decent holster..

Looks like a nice place too shoot. Did you have to hike far? Did you encounter any BP?

Jacques, that is a negative on the hiking, once you make a left from the road, you drive about a lil bit and park your car under some huge oak trees. There was a lot of BP going back and forth on the road behind us and we only had one that came down on the river bed and just waived at us hello as he was passing by...

Hello, i'm very new to this forum with very few posts. Is this area the same as Carrizo Creek open range in Jacumba? If not, can you share the directions?
I have an SKS that gets very seldom range time.
