Found this on Gunbroker and listing says it is available to Californians so if anyone wants it better buy it now.

Hey, what's with the high price? I saw a gun shop a year ago or so that had three for sale at $350 each. I almost bought one to match the one I already have at this price (yes I am a gun whore see other thread). : )) Or, if this price is real and competitive, I better re-evaluate my collection's value! Seeems like prices have gone up so much! Could be my collection is now a true investment for profit? Can't wait to tell the wife! Are all of you seeing these kinds of big price increases?

Are you sure it was a year ago and not 30+ years ago? Seriously $350 for any Colt 1911 a year ago is ridiculously low and probably too good to be true.

Most any Colt 1911 in 95%+ condition will go easy for $650 and up in CA.

Ok, could have been about three years ago...but not 30! : )) The .40 is hot and 10mm is cold so the price was so low? I should have bought them all...
it would have been a great investment! My Delta cost me $350 about ten years ago, it was less than a year old, barely shot, the owner bought a color printer without asking his wife, so he needed to quickly replace the missing money from the bank account...I was hovering nearby like a vulture... ; )

I was about to buy it, but I yahoo mapped Redding and it came up with this.

FINISH Redding, CA 96002
Total Distance: 522.9 miles, Total Time: 7 hours 55 mins (approx.)

A little too far for me.
