Repeal the 16th amendment and that would start to fix things around here?

Watched the the entire film. The first half is interesting, the second half is filled with conspiracy theory ranting that pretty much made me lol then fall asleep. Interesting nontheless but I take everything with a grain of salt.

Very good!
I'm not sure I understand what she says about the 2nd though. Does she support an individual right or not?

This is a response to cbn620 from the related, but closed thread.
Freedom, fella, for starters I was only kidding. I was making a joke about how our community does have a lot of hard-right neo-conservatives who absolutely do not tolerate liberals or anyone even so much as left leaning like myself. Only a joke.
But I do want to address a point you were making. Ms. Wolf DID in fact address the issue of the second amendment. If you'll watch that video which was posted originally in its entirety, you'll see this.
I consider Wolf to be an overall ally in terms of Constitutional issues. I can't say I agree with everything she has said in her entire life nor everything she has ever supported, but she points out some severe injustices in her book that even a blind man could see.
You got me wrong...I wasn't disagreeing with you or riled...I was actually agreeing with you by showcasing Bush's failures. And I would be the first to stand next to a true liberal that was patriotic. We can disagree on policy, but we must agree that America comes first.
Yes you are right, the 2nd Amendment was mentioned in the interview with Naomi Wolf, but she didn't quote the 2nd Amendment...she quoted part of the 3rd and 4th Amendments and some other parts of the Constitution or Federal Code. This is part of what she said..."The 2nd Amendment says you cant have a standing army that's not answerable to the people...that's why the Governor's are responsible for the National Guard...and thats why we dont have mercenaries terrorizing us"...WTF?
I'll admit she tells a compelling story, but she tells her story with a particular bias that omits the obvious. She's either not so well researched or she is purposely ignoring the fact that banning personal firearms has been key to the rise of ALL fascist regimes/states. I mean c'mon....she has 10 steps and not one is banning the personal ownership of firearms?
There are some reports floating around that question her research prowess. I haven't read any of her books so I cant comment personally, but she is clearly incorrect with the above quote of the 2nd Amendment...and whats with calling our system of government a "democracy" over and over?
EDIT:
I found a link to the Colbert report of all places from Sept. 2007, where Ms. Wolf is clearly stumping for Hillary. This supports my previous contention that she is a partisan. If Obama is elected I seriously doubt we will be hearing anything remotely similar from her.
She makes the reference to Hillary being the next President at about 4:55 into the video...

Neo conservatives are really just neo fascists. Do some reseach. The Nazi roots are overwhelming.

I don't think you can claim that the entire movie is fake. Sure, there are inaccuracies, but overall very thought provoking.

I started watching it, but all the bunk about religion was just too much. "Religion is bad and it's used to control the masses and Jesus never existed". Okay, I figured the movie would be interesting, not whining about religions.

yeah but.... religion is bad. i wouldn't not watch the movie just because they have differing views on religion then you.

It wasn't that they had differing views on religion than me. It was that it seemed that they were saying that religion is the cause of everything bad and that without religion we'd all just have a happy happy time, just like John Lennon wanted.
Sorry, I understand that organized religions have become a vehicle for people that want more control. I also know that religions give people a sense of ethics and morals that is what society is built on, which is why some of the powerful people want to make religion organized and under their control, so that they can take the ethics and morals out of religion.
I personally found it very distasteful how they went after Christianity, and spread a lot of dis-info about it, like how it was based on Egyptian sun gods and whatever else. None of that is true, but it makes it appear that it is.
Oh well.

Loose Change does ask a lot of questions that haven't been answered. There must be a reason why the government gave the 9/11 investigation the drive-by that it did.
Do I know who masterminded the attacks OR who allowed it to happen? No. Do I think that there is a lot more to it than has been let on by the fedgov? Damn right.

Too many questions left by the whole 9/11 thing. Ask them and you are labeled as "unpatriotic". :-/

Here is a link to a debate about the "National ID" http://www.gunowners.org/abrams.ram
In the end of the video there is a request from the Executive Director of GOA for donations. Even though this is a gun forum, I think I need to state that I am not affiliated with GOA, nor do my views necessarily represent those of GOA.
I am posting this to show that there is something in the works for this technology to be implemented soon.
