Just wondering. I haven't tried, but with the politics here ...

I know of at least three personally, one is a FFL, another is a former LEO and the last is a Correctional Officer...... extremely unlikely you could get one unless you are a LEO or are a large contributor to Sheriff Cogbill's re-election campaign .

Would $1,000 do it? ??? :)

Pop 471,000, 163 permits issued for the whole county. You do the math and figure your odds

Any chance the *names* are public record?

If you have what is considered "good cause" I would talk to somebody like Team Billy Jack so you can get off on the right foot.

To answer your question, all CCW data is public record, the counties CCW policy should be a matter of public record. Will you get it out of them is another question. You can request access to their CCW records and policies. TBJ will have more info on that. http://www.californiaconcealedcarry.com/

I have two family members who have them in Sonoma County. They both got written letters of recommendation from a well known police chief when applying which helped them.
