It looks like Big 5 may be cheaper. The DROS is also $5 less at Big 5, as they do not charge a handling fee.
I am pretty sure this is apples to apples here.

i put a deposit down on one on sunday. GOnna go pay off the balance this weekend to start dros. I think its a fair price. Better than i've seen at alot of other stores.

If you live near Victorville, the new Sportsman's Warehouse has them for $299.

I think that price is "fair". You could probably find it cheaper (~$300)but if you have to drive around you will negate(sp?) the savings.

Ouch, is that really how much they are now? Seems just like yesterday they were $330 regular price, sale price of $279 and a $30 rebate.
But then again... seems like yesterday 9mm value packs were $9.99... :D

that is just an ok deal,
if you are not in a hurry,
i would wait, with dros and all,
you will be looking at close to 400.
for a remington 870!!
but then, i used to think that three dollars for a gallon of
petrol is outrageous,
or that prices on ammo has gone up 25-35% overnight,
while oil companies are making record profits in
the HISTORY OF UNITED STATES.
