M&P 45 ACP $450.00
Coming down to Torrance area any time soon?

If you come to OC or near by.

I'm thinning the herd a bit, and this one can go. It has approximately 700 rounds fired. I've fired about 400 of those and this weapon has been 100% reliable. It comes with the box, lock, papers and 2 factory 10 round magazines. ONLY $425.00
I'm located about 50 miles North of LA. I'll post pics as soon as I can figure it out. Or you can email me and I'll send them to you.
Trades: Firestar 45 acp, 1911 45 acp (I'll add money to make it work)
CA legal ar15 (would be willing to add money to make this work too.)
Thanks for looking.

Hi and thanks to everybody who's sent interest. I'd be willing to meet somebody for a face to face transfer within a hundred miles of me if you'll give me $25 dollars for gas, in other words the price on the weapon would be $450.00
That will only cover about 2/3 of one way of the drive since I'll have to drive about 200 miles round trip.
If that rings anybody's bell, PM me and we'll work it out.
Everybody, keep your powder dry.

Does this have the mag disconnect?
06-23-2008, 1:16 PM
Excellent question. I am not certain. When I dry fire the piece with or without the magazine in it, it still seems to function. I haven't owned a pistol with a disconnect in over twenty years (Browning Hi Power) so I can't recall whether the trigger would function with no magazine in it or not. I am going shooting on Wednesday and I will post when i get back.
Check the slide. If there is some type of warning that the pistol can fire without the magazine then it does not have the mag disconnect. My wifes M&P9 does not "click" when the trigger pulled all the way back and returns all way forward without a magazine. It does have the mag disconnect. I don't believe the non mag disconnect version is on the CA approved list and would only qaulify for a PPT.

I checked the weapon and it indeed does NOT have a magazine drop safety.
So, this weapon is not on the idiot list, and it has to be face to face. The price is $425.00 if you come to me, and $450 if I have to drive someplace.
My FFL guy is in Frazier Park, about 50 N of the San Fernando Valley.
I consider this a great deal on this weapon. I've looked in shops and at all the online gun auctions, and while some are priced at $500 new, you have to ship and pay dros and taxes, and YOU CAN'T BUY THIS PISTOL WITHOUT THE DROP SAFETY. Except from little old me.
So, somebody grab this. I'll leave it here through the weekend. I'd like to keep this in the state, but if no one jumps, I'll list it on one of the national gun auctions.
Thanks for looking.
