Lets keep it at about 50 pounds so it will work out to about $1 per lb for shipping and hazmat. Full deposit minus shipping and hazmat will be required before the order goes in. We will figure out the shipping and hazmat when you guys come and pick up the stuff.

How do you intend to comply with the L.A. County Fire Code re transportation and storage of such a large amount of powder?

If it's over 20# it's supposed to be stored in a powder magazine.

And powder can't be re-shipped by a private individual / someone other than an 'approved hazmat shipper', so how would you handle distribution?


It's a damned shame The Reloading Center folded their tent and you might do better to try coordinating such a bulk purchase via King's Gun Works in Burbank-Glendale. They can't seem to keep their powder magazine stocked up, but with a little effort by everybody a mutually beneficial situation could probably be arranged wherein they take and place the bulk order and handle the handling, and get a swarm of potential customers in their door for their trouble.
They are out of my way these days, and gas prices being what they are I've given up making special trips there hoping to find powders I need.

Remember that primers are about 1lb per 1000 count box.
