So I decided put some hollow point ammo in the tumbler to clean it up. Now the noses of the hollow points are full of media.
Any suggestions?

Use a push pin or fine point tool to wiggle them around. They are wedged in there, but they are not packed. Usually once you get one or two little pieces moving, the rest just follows.

If you're talking about open tip match style rifle bullets (like Sierra Match Kings, or Nosler HPBTs), I don't think that having the tip plugged with media makes any difference at all.
One of the guys I shoot with is really good with his AR, and regularly shoots 240+ out of 250 possible in our club's monthly iron sight bench rest competition. He shoots Black Hills blue box .223 exclusively, and a fair number of their rounds come with a grain or two of walnut plugging up the tip.
3 out of 5 times, this guy can cover his 5 round groups with a quarter, and he says the rounds with the plugged tips don't seem to shoot any differently from the unplugged ones.

Dental pick. I know I picked up one from the last gun show.

The best thing to do is load them in your magazines and shoot them.
