Is the Benelli M4-Super 90 with a pistol grip but standard fixed stock legal in California?:cool2:

Yes, with a few exceptions.

IIRC, there were a run of them not sold in CA, only for LEO, and any magazine extender must not be a factory imported part, i.e., aftermarket only. Otherwise, if you can find it at Turners or where ever else that retails them, it should be legal.

You can get a two piece mag extension that screws onto your existing tube then the extension screws into that then the stock nut holds the barrel in place. Or you can get a 1 piece extension tube that replaces your existing tube all together. You might hear alot about 922r and extensions on this post. This is an ongoing debate as to how you read the law and what is legal or not.

By replacing the entire tube and a new follower you have replaced two of the three parts you need to be 922r compliant. It's alot cleaner look too.
