Pof gas piston uppers

IM throwing around adout buying a pof gas piston upper R they any good

mmmm if you look for addax's posts there two threads discussing gas pistons where a lot of information is revealed by addax, ar15barrels etc.

the pof is discussed very thoroughly imo.

I'll just say that gas piston uppers are nice. A couple of our PSD guys carried HK416's and they weren't bad. But after 2 years in the box and well over 100k of rounds through AR's, I'll say that the piston doesn't REALLY fix the weak link in the system. In the AR platform, the weak link is always the mags and from there, basic maintenance will make it run forever.
