Color me surprised. I went in looking for ammo yesterday, and found 10 boxes of 6.8 SPC soft points for sale at Wallyworld, of all places. It is the Federal Fusion 115 grain stuff. It was only a dollar more than I can get it for online at Midway, so I figured what the heck. I normally roll my own, but I figured it would be fun to have some store-bought stuff around.

The fusion bullets do very well at 6.8 velocities. I shoot the 90gr version sold as the gold dot and have had great success on deer.

Does this stuff use small or large rifle primers? Most of my 6.8 brass is LR.

It looks like they have small rifle primers. Kind of a bummer, as most of my 6.8 cases have a large rifle primer. Oh well, these will just end up with the SSA 6.8 brass, to be reloaded later.
